Cartesian Hand V1
Our hands are complicated, but our tools are not. Most common tools reduce to a few simple, low-DoF mechanisms, so I built a hand to match them.
Turns out 7 linear joints is plenty. The Cartesian Hand handled 35 articulated objects across laboratory, manufacturing, and household settings.
